Finally SharePoint Twenty Ten launching ceremony has been started. It’s a long wait for SharePoint practitioner.
Jeff Teper (Corporate Vice President, SharePoint Server @ Microsoft) has concluded in his final article on SharePoint 2010 at early morning just before starting the conference.

Jeff has been describing how SharePoint 2010 has been categorized to six major areas Sites, Communities, Content, Search, Insights, and Composites. Lots of changed and improvement has been taken place in Administration and Development areas as well.

From the technical perspective, latest technologies like Ajax, JQuery, SilverlightGroove (SharePoint works space) has been integrate into SharePoint 2010. More strength on maintaining and handling large list and document library, meta data information and new way to design and branding SharePoint sites. Great development in web part development. Visual web part design has been implemented first time in SharePoint 2010. And at last new SharePoint Designer 2010.

From business perspective, wonderful GUI and mostly integrated with Office 2010 like Ribbon. Robust and intelligent search using FAST integration. SharePoint works space and integration with office. Mobile access mechanism is better. Special attention on profile and people connection. Visio service has been integrated in SharePoint 2010 and flexible way to design and implement work flow.
